The First Step to Finding a Surrogate
The first step in the surrogacy process for couples or singles involves contacting one of our offices and speaking with one of our nurse coordinators. This no-obligation phone call is very important, as the information gathered by us will usually allow us to determine your eligibility and suitability for our program. We will answer any questions you may have, ask you a few questions, and provide you with information about the availability of surrogates that may be of interest to you. It should be noted that we provide totally non-discriminatory services to all patients with no consideration of race, gender, national origin or sexual orientation.
The Initial Consultation
If you decide to schedule a consultation (the “next” step), we will also provide you instructions for having your past fertility and health treatment records, if any, forwarded to us for our review prior to your office visit. If traveling from out of State or abroad, we can often arrange for you to meet and see all of those that will be involved in your plans (physicians, embryologists, attorney) all over the course of a long weekend (Friday-Sunday). For those that would also like to meet with potential surrogates at the same time, a non-refundable deposit will be required in advance of your visit so that the surrogates may be present. The request to have surrogates available for the first visit is only available for couples arriving from out of town.
