Dr. Mohan Lal Swarankar

He is the Chairman & Managing Trustee, India Education Trust, Sponsoring Body of Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur, first and the only residential Medical University in the State of Rajasthan, established under of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Act No. 22 of 2011.
 Dr. Swarankar graduated with a gold medal from the University of Rajasthan and completed his post-graduation from Nation’s Premier Medical institute PGIMER, Chandigarh in 1982. He had his basic In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) training from the University of Liverpool, UK. He had extensive training in the USA, Germany, France & Australia, etc., in the field of Advanced Reproductive Technology & Microsurgery.
 He is the founder-director of Jaipur Fertility Centre (now an urban satellite center, a Unit of Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences & Technology, Jaipur) which is the first center of Rajasthan & North India to have a successful IVF program and delivered more than ten thousand babies to infertile couples in the last two decades.
 Ever since Dr. M L Swarankar became a doctor he had a dream to make a Medical Institute par excellence that could provide quality medical education & world-class quality health services to the community, especially to the poor and needy, as he desires to serve them on priority.
 Dr. Swarankar has been inspired by Mahatma Gandhi’s favorite prayer song He who understands the pain of others is one of God’s own.
