Dr. Shweta M Gupta

Dr. Shweta (Mittal) Gupta is a board-certified Infertility / IVF specialist and Reproductive Endocrinologist working as a consultant at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi. For the last 10 years, she has in the field of reproductive medicine. She has performed over 1000 oocyte aspirations and embryo transfer cycles. She also undertakes IVF with donor oocytes and surrogacy. To my credit includes the second IVF/ICSI cycle from frozen-thawed oocyte in India with a successful outcome. All the IVF/ICSI cycles are undertaken after thorough screening procedures and legal formalities (Where ever required). Her field of interest also includes fertility promoting Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic procedures and male infertility.

After completing post-graduation in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she was awarded diplomat of the national board (Obstetrics and Gynecology). After which, completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in reproductive medicine. She was the first fellow to complete the fellowship in the field of reproductive medicine from the national board, awarded by the President of India. During her fellowship, she worked with leading infertility experts to learn advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques including fertility promoting laparoscopic surgeries and assisted reproductive technology such as IUI and IVF. Being well versed with fertility promoting endoscopic procedures she has also undertaken an advanced endoscopic course from Kiel (Germany).

She has been a gold medalist throughout her academic career. Besides holding a meritorious record during medical college, She has also won numerous awards and honors. Her other achievements include Chimco young scientist award, M.Dee.Kin young scientist award, FOGSI Ethicon fellowship, and VHB Vigyan Vardaan award.
