She worked as a Consultant Gynaecologist at Jaya Hospitals from 2006 to 2010 and at SB Hospital from 2007 to 2013. Dr. Mani Malar then underwent a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine at Chettinad Hospital, Keelambakkam, in 2014.
