Dr. S Pappachan was a dedicated Medical student during his graduation and, Post-graduation is from Government Medical College Trivandrum during 1975-1984. Immediately, after Post-graduation, he joined in Kerala State Government Service (PHC, Taluk, and District Hospitals). During his Government Service, he had involved in school health programs and conducted laparoscopic surgery camps and around 50 -75 thousand laparoscopic surgeries had done. He treats the various ailments of the patients by helping them undergo high-quality treatments and procedures. He was in charge of the Laparoscopy, Gynaecology & Obstetrics department.
Dr. S Pappachan established Lifeline Super Speciality Hospital, Adoor, Kerala, to give infertility treatment for infertility couples. It is the first hospital in central Travancore to provide these facilities. The hospital got NABH accreditation. As a multispecialty hospital, it is equipped with the most advanced technologies and types of equipment infertility treatment, gynecology, and obstetrics, pediatrics and neonatology, genetics and bariatric plus laparoscopy, urology, radiology, general medicine, and general surgery.
Soon after completion of his studies, he joined government service where he contributed greatly to the population control program. Dr. Pappachan gained fame even at the state level for vasectomy surgery. Working as a gynecologist his heart too ached when he saw the agony of childless couples.
That made Pappachan focus completely on infertility, and he carried out studies regarding the same in Trivandrum medical college. Realizing that the facilities offered by the government were not enough, he started working in the private sector.
