Dr. Sarah Oosman is a young and dynamic gynecologist who is currently practicing Gynecology and specializes in Infertility. After completing her MBBS in 1998 from Deccan college of medical sciences she moved to the UK where she started working in 2002. In the UK she worked as a Registrar in Gynecology in various reputed hospitals such as The Royal united hospital in Bath and The Queen’s Medical center in Nottingham to name a few.
She gained higher degrees such as MRCOG (a member of RCOG), MICOG, DRCOG (from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists), and DFFP (from the Faculty of Family Planning). She is also an Honorary Fellow of the Royal free pond hospital, London, where she trained under the world-renowned Laparoscopic surgeon, Dr. Adam Magos.
She also recently completed her DRM (Diploma in Advanced Reproductive Medicine, GERMANY) 2015.
Dr. Sarah Oosman has helped hundreds of patients achieve pregnancies with cost-effective infertility treatment protocols such as medications (tablets with or without injections), artificial insemination or intrauterine insemination (IUI), and assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures such as in-vitro fertilization (IVF), IVF with Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (IVF – ICSI) and most recently IVF with IMSI Intracytoplasmic morphologically selected sperm injection (IMSI) is a specialized variation of ICSI that uses a higher-powered microscope to select sperm. In conventional ICSI, the embryologist selects the most normal-looking motile sperm using a microscope that magnifies the sample up to 400 times. IMSI is a variation of ICSI that uses a high power light microscope (enhanced by digital imaging) to magnify the sperm sample over 6000 times. Sperms are then selected which have the most normally-shaped nuclei for severe oligospermia.
Dr. Sarah Oosman also has a team of Male Infertility specialists who carry out procedures such as Vasectomy reversals, Hydrocele/Varicocele repair, and TESA/PESA and TESTICULAR BIOPSY. In the case of sperm retrieval, the sperms are frozen immediately for Azoospermic patients to be used when patients are ready for IVF-IMSI.
