Rama Raju was born in Guntur, Guntur district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. son of Gottumukkala Rama Krishnam Raju and Gottumukkala Venkata Narasamma. He completed his schooling at Gandhi Centenary School, Kakinada (1975). Later he pursued an Intermediate in Bi.P.C. stream in DNR College Bhimavaram (May 1977). He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences from Andhra Medical Sciences, Visakhapatnam (May 1986).
Rama Raju graduated with a medical degree and completed post-graduate work in 1990 at Andhra Medical College and the National Board of Examination India. He studied ultrasound at Wade Maternity Hospital in Mumbai. Dr. GA Rama Raju is a Practicing Physician in Assisted Reproduction Domain for the past 28 years. He has held several adjunct roles with Medical Universities & Research Centers. He has been active in publishing his research output in leading journals and conferences with h-Index: 11, i10-Index: 12, Citations: 709.
He has delivered several Clinical Lectures, Talks, and Keynote speakers at leading Clinical Conferences. He has a current interest is in Proteomics and unraveling the interplay between Genes and Proteins in Assisted Reproduction and has been a strong votary in enhancing the Imaging Quantification Applications for Male Infertility.
